Starts out very slow and softly, and gradually builds in intensity. When my hubby sings it, it makes me break out in goosebumps, no matter how many times I've heard it.

This is a very difficult thread to answer for me since I have a lot of favorite songs. I will share a song that recently touched my heart last week. It's called Untitled Hymn by Chris Rice and it will bring you to tears. The music and words together are what our salvation is all about and Chris tapped into God's annointing when he wrote this song. I am one who favors slow, inspirational worship songs that express the simplicity of God's grace which our current world has long forgotten. Of course, that's another thread....smile.....bro joe

favourite hymn

My favourite hymn tune is perhaps 'Abide with me', but then I am a musician.
My overall favourites are "When a Knight won his spurs" and "Lord of the Dance". Both have great tunes and moving lyrics.
