Are you aware of what it takes to be successful? Many people believe that success is defined by amassing a certain amount of money. The accumulation of wealth and material items is their primary desire. Others believe that their success is determined by their level of authority. So, what does it mean to be a Christian success? For a new perspective on Christian success, read the article below with me.
Make the most of the time you have.
To grow effectively and have a spiritually healthy life, Christians must follow precise standards. Taking advantage of your own time, in particular, to come closer to your goals, is a critical factor. The Bible does neither promote or discourage people from pursuing money, intelligence, or beauty. Both the wealthy and the poor were invited to be His disciples, but Jesus made it clear that what we call "success" in this world has no bearing on our eternal destiny.
"Do not store up riches on earth, where vermin and iron destroy, where thieves break in and steal," Jesus cautioned. "Rather, store up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in and steal." For where your treasure is, so will your heart be." (Matthew 6:19-21; Luke 6:19-21; Matthew 6:19-21)
Many people nowadays are preoccupied with acquiring worldly possessions, honors, or lifestyles. We are socially conditioned to achieve these goals, and the majority of people regard obtaining them as "success." These things, however, will perish and have no eternal value, according to God's Word.
Concentrate on the most important details.
Instead of getting caught up in the fad and allowing selfish desire and vanity to drive us, we may focus on things that matter. If we desire the aforementioned, we will have true worth in eternity. Consider how different it is to "...pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with all who are in need with God's honor rather than man's honor." A pure spirit, rather than earthly prosperity, talk to the Lord!" Revelation 2:22 (NASB) These objects have limitless value; they do not decay, and they will never be concerned or unhappy.
Having a godly temperament is the key to acquiring Christ's qualities in our lives. This isn't even close to being worth much more! And God promises that if we obey His word with sincere hearts in our daily lives, it will prosper us. 1:8 (Joshua) "...as His divine power endowed us with all things relating to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, what has been accomplished provides us great and precious promises, so that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, free from worldly lust..."But, for this reason, make every effort to improve your faith by acquiring knowledge, understanding, intellectual self-control, self-control endurance, godly persistence, and compassion. God's word and your mercy."
Follow the Bible for success.
The parable told by Jesus in Luke 12:16-21 indicates that people's desires and treasures have no lasting value. The most valuable thing we have is our soul, which is more valuable than all the world's goods combined. "What good is it to a man if he has everything in the world but loses his soul?" the Lord said. So, what would you give in return for your soul?" (Matthew 16:26 BDM) According to Jesus, people who are successful in this life are not always truly successful in the long term.
Because of his position, riches, and power, Paul thought he was a successful man before he trusted in the Lord, but in his new perspective given by God, he declared that everything he thought was worth was successful. The word "public" is derived from the word "trash." True success is determined by what God thinks of us and what we do, not by what others think of us or what we have accomplished.
God gave the Bible to man in order to teach him what works have eternal value and will last forever. The Bible has many examples of actual success that show us how to live successfully in the eyes of our Creator: "All Scripture is inspired by God and can be used for both teaching and refutation. Correcting wrongdoings and teaching a man to live a godly life so that the man of God is fully prepared for every good task " (3:16-17 BDM).
Paul emphasizes that the Bible is the guideline for an evangelist's life and ministry, thus Timothy must commit to living the Bible in order to be productive in his life and career. In the same way, if you want to flourish in God's eyes, you must commit to following God's Word, the Bible.
A person who joyfully contemplates and obeys God's Word "will be like a tree planted by a stream of water, yielding fruit in season and whose leaves do not wither," according to the Bible. "Everything he does is a success." 3:1 (Psalm)
