Revival, what revival?

I don't know if anyone on here has noticed but elsewhere online and according to some TV channels like CBN there is now supposedly a big new surge in people here in the UK attending proper born-again churches and getting saved and baptised etc. But where is it happening? is it just in the cities and big towns etc. as there's not much sign of it where I am in a small town in the north west of England, here the only born again activities have long gone and there's only a catholic church, two church of England's and a methodist one which doubles as a gymnastics club. And there also seems to be very little born again activity elsewhere in the whole borough either, but just too many old traditional orthodox religious churches which are no good and are only counter productive and misleading without the Holy Spirit without whom Christianity can't function, so where is the revival? And I seriously need some proper Spirit-filled Christian outreach but there's nothing here, it's a desolate outpost, and last year I did try writing some polite emails to some other churches elsewhere a few miles away in other nearby boroughs, but needless to say I never heard anything back, it seems they only want to know about the easy cases who whatever problems they have can still attend church and still fit in no problem etc. but not everyone is like that, some of us have severe problems making it impractical to attend church or any other group activities.

I agree, I have been searching for a bible believing, spirit filled church within a sensible distance for ages and failed. They seem more interested in tea, coffee and cakes. I have come to the conclusion that house churches are the only solution. In Revelation Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” He is outside the established churches and desiring to fellowship with individuals. There is a web site that’s set up to help people find house churches and they are able to join the group. It’s not been running for long but there is a trickle of people joining from all over the country christianhousechurch.uk. Unfortunately there’s nothing happening in my neck of the woods.

Sadly it seems revivals are now a thing of the past. Plus people say they don't have time. As really so much in our world has changed. Just hope revivals come before Jesus comes back as He can come back at any single day and time. Praying for revival is a huge must.

I think "not having the time" must be the most lame excuse of all, that sounds like those who have far too easy a life so have no excuses, after all we're talking about eternity here and getting it sorted out while we still can, and only last Sunday 24/5/26 I was watching a live church service in Louisiana and the Lord gave someone there a message and He reminded all those there and those watching to "Seek Him while He can be found". So the time for commitment is now, ASAP. And I'm praying that the revival will be brought here to my locality with powerful and thoroughly effective outreach as I need serious born again support. And I think we should also pray for as many as possible of the orthodox clergy to get saved and understand Christianity properly and we must also pray for the Lord to halt the spread of "new age" occultist culture which has become a dangerous obsession. And somewhere else online I've seen a site which has a search facility to find born again churches in your own locality, but if I remember right it was just for the UK. And don't forget that the Lord said that He will pour out His Spirit in the last days so there should be some big revivals soon, and He said that the end will come when His message was spread all over the world, well we've had satellite broadcasting and internet now for decades.
