I keep thinking about someone - i dont know them personally. When i think about them i feel the Spirit draw closer to me in a way i havent felt in literally decades.

Is that God telling me there's some sort of connection between us that's coming ?

i dont think im being obsessional - im very aware this person is neither perfect nor really evil.

Your thoughts

Uriah means - God is my light. Kasah in Hebrew means - cover up.
Kalupto in Greek means - cover up.

No one is perfect. David committed big sin, adultery and had Uriah killed in action on battlefield to cover up Bathshua, she was pregnant with David's child.

God sent prophet Nathan to confront David. Here is lesson, David knew better, and God came down harder on David. This makes difference with God. David tried to cover up his sins and its serious when God sends man of God to confront the person.

2 Samuel 11:3. And David sent messengers and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Elliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittie?

In 1 Chronicles Bathsheba is called Bath- shua. Uriah means light of God.

11:4. And David sent messengers, and took her, and she came in unto him and he lay with her, for she was purified from her unclesnness: and she returned to her house.

Did Bathsheba put up fight?. David was king and there was no objections to orders by kiing. David could have someone executed. She couldn't refuse king David command.

Was this love or lust.

11:5. And the woman conceived and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

11:6. And David sent to joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittie. And joab sent Uriah to David.

David is in big trouble, and will try to cover it up. David committed big sin. David wants Uriah to lay with his wife and think it's his child.

11:11. And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel and Judah, abide in tents and my lord, and the servants of my lord are encamped in the open fields, shall I then go into mine own house, to eat and drink and lie with my wife? As thou live, and as thy soul live, I will not do this thing.

Uriah didn't go home to his wife. David had his plot set up and Uriah didn't fulfill it. Uriah was loyal to the ark, his comrades and his family. David allowed his passion to run wild.

Uriah was discplined and David wasn't. David trys to get Uriah drunk and go home to his wife. His plan still doesn't work.

11:15. And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set Ye Uriah in the fore front of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten and die.

David knew Uriah was loyal to him. And Uriah would not open the letter written by King. The general is joab, his nephew, to send Uriah in worst spot of battle.

David wants Uriah killed in action. David trusted Uriah to carry out his own death warrant.

11:17. And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab and there fell some of the people of the servants of David and Uriah the Hittie also.

David planned the murder of Uriah, and joab carried out the orders of David. Uriah was ignorant of the plot against him. David is keeping everything secret from the people.

Lesson here. No one can hide one thing from God. David should have came clean by repentance earlier. Now he has murder on his hands. Trying to cover it up makes it worse.

11:25. Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shall thou say unto joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devour one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city and over throw it and encourage thou him.

Understand this, the murder of Uriah puts David at disadvantage as far as joab is concerned. Joab has something on David he can use to his advantage in the future.

Bathsheba now knows what David did to her husband. She mourned for Uriah.

12:1. And the Lord sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city, the one rich and other poor.

Nathan the prophet giving David warning . David ended up passing sentence on himself. God absolutely was not happy with David.

12:7. And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus say the Lord God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul.

God turned over house of Saul to David. God gave David kingdom of Israel. David had wives and wealth of the nations. God gave David all he could ever have.

12:11. Thus says the Lord, Behold I will rise up evil against thee out of thine own house and I will take thy wives before thine eyes and give them unto thy neighbor and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

Sight of the dune means done in public. Nothing will be secrets before the people. The adultery against David wives will be scandal.

What goes around will come around in David's house. Davids trouble will be from family. David tried to hide this from God, and severe punishment is coming from God.

12:12. For thou did it secretly, but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.

What will you do when your in big trouble with God.

12:13. And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord.. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin, thou shall not die.

David finally understood how much this hurts our Father. David did repent. David confessed his sins and confession to God. Nathan dressed David down and allowed David to pass sentence on himself.

David is going to pay for every tid bit he did. God took his son from being born. The heathen saw child born out of wedlock and davids sins, would use it to blasphemy the Lord.

We all make mistakes and mess up sometimes. Repent and learn from your mistakes. Don't try to cover it up. It makes the situation even worse. Just because Christian repents to God, doesn't mean they won't be punished. When correction from God comes, kiss the paddle and say thank you Jesus.
