Genesis 5:15-17
KJV(i)15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared: 16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters: 17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

my thoughts.
Mahalalel means Blessed is God. Jared means descent. Seeing that God is where all blessing comes from makes us see compared to God we are all descent because He is blessed and worthy of praise but thru Christ we are made special. Adam was 460 at Jared's birth, Seth was 330, Enosh was 225, Kenan was 135.
