Genesis 11:2
KJV 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

These are my thoughts.
It is good for us to dwell in good land but the best is when we dwell in the Lord and journey with Him.

Genesis 11:3
KJV 3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.

These are my thoughts.
It is good to have tasks and goals but not if God isn’t leading them.

These are my thoughts.

KJV 6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.

These are my thoughts.
This meant that any evil could happen from man. We don’t need to stand together against God’s will but come together in His will.

This is why there are different languages because the evil of man was so united that God change them to where sin didn’t prevail at that time.

KJV 8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

They weren’t willing to move on their own and now the Lord Himself moves the people.
